Tv24 Report: US manufacturer of networking, storage and security solutions, Netgear has launched its flagship online store, netgearstore.com.bd in Bangladesh. A launch event was arranged at Hotel Intercontinental to commemorate this historic moment.
Netgear has continued to increase its presence in Bangladesh market and to offer value added service over the last few years. As part of that effort Netgear is officially launching its online retail flagship store, netgearstore.com.bd. where consumers will be able to explore and order products directly from Netgear. The website will also offer payment flexibility to consumers, allowing them to buy products from the ease of their home on Cash on Delivery or to buy products in EMI with all major credit cards. Local fulfillment of orders will be facilitated by Computer City Technologies Ltd, the exclusive distributor of Netgear in Bangladesh.
The event was held at the Madhumoti Hall of Hotel Intercontinental, Dhaka, Bangladesh and was attended by guests from print and electronic media. Mr Muhammed Monirul Islam, Managing Director of Computer City Technologies Ltd was present along with Mr. Md. Shahid-ul-Munir, President, Bangladesh Computer Samity, who graced the event as special guest. Mr. Simon Tsang, VP of Sales APAC for Netgear inaugurated the flagship store virtually via teleconferencing as chief guest. Other senior Netgear officials were also present virtually.
Mohammed Monirul Islam, MD of Computer City Technologies Limited called the launch of this flagship store a milestone: “As far as I know, this is the first Flasgship store to be opened and directly managed by an International reputed ICT brand in Bangladesh. Speaking as the special guest Md. Shahid-ul-Munir, President of Bangladesh Computer Samity stressed the importance of providing quality service and ensuring a smooth user interaction: “I am delighted to see brands like Netgear stepping up to come closer to their customers through a direct online presence via this flagship store. I hope that with enhanced service and user interaction the site will be eradicate some of the fears consumers have experienced in recent past with a few e-commerce site and bring back their faith on online shopping”
