Southeast Asia startup summit begins Thursday

TV24 Desk: An international conference on innovative entrepreneurship of startup culture in the Southeast Asia region is starting on Thursday.

Some 75 local and international experts are schedule to participate in 10 session during the three-day summit organised by Inspiring Bangladesh, said a news release.

Information and Communication Technology Department is the partner of the conference held virtually.

University Grants Commission (UGC) member Professor Sajjad Hossain, Aspire to Innovate (A2i) programme project director Dewan Mohammad Humayun Kabir, IDEA project director Md Altaf Hossain, Washington University of Science and Technology chairman Abu Bakar Hanip, AVS Real Estate Managing Director Rafiq Khan and LENOVO general manager Naveen Kejriwal and AmarPay Managing Director Ishtiaque Sarwar will participate in different session on opening day.

Inspiring Bangladesh managing director Imran Fahad said the conference will play a role in the exchange of knowledge at the international level for all the startups that are moving forward in the country.
