Ananta group: Digiting millions of documents with ENADOC

TV24 Desk: Ananta group, one of the leading garments conglomerate choose Enadoc to digitize millions of backlogs and live documents, ensuring a paperless environment across the company. The company is one of the leading garment manufacturers and exporters in Bangladesh with more than 21 factories, over 26,000 workers and 5000 employees.

As of the few regional solutions integrator and Microsoft Gold Partner in the region, Tech One Bangladesh has at its core delivering digital transformation by democratizing digital to its clients from all sectors. Through its ISV and co-sell solution Enadoc, the team is able to provide an affordable but intuitive cloud-based document management solution built on the Microsoft platform that enables organizations to protect their assets, disaster-proof their records, and provide ease of access for file storage and retrieval, eliminating tedious manual paper processes.

When the Ananta group enlisted Tech One’s services, they were faced with the following: (1) the finance and commercial departments had to work on more than 5,000 paper files daily composed of consignments, export files, and finance records. This exposes the process to data risks and disasters and slows down the operations, including the auditing; (2) manually retrieving their files took days as they had to be retrieved physically from their factories to the head office, with travel time averaging 3 to 4 hours; and (3) the finance department has to keep the last 5 years of records for retention policies, all stored in a warehouse.

“The Apparel industry is one of the major industries in the country and with recent fire outbreaks resulting in loss of information, Enadoc became a perfect fit,” Md. Azmal Hossain, General Manager – IT, Ananta Group.

Enadoc addressed their challenges and allowed them to experience these improvements:

  • Optimized and secure file retrieval and sharing for finance and commercial departments as it has brought down the tedious process to only a few minutes;
  • Efficient auditing process as authenticated soft copies are now provided instead of physical files;
  • Lessen cost for massive printing of documentations as every process is now happening in Enadoc;
  • Cutting file retrieval requests from days to 15 minutes and saving on warehouse storage costs.

Lars Jeppesen, Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder of Tech One Global and Enadoc shares, “I am very proud to have clients like Ananta group pioneering the use on our Enadoc SaaS ECM platform. Enadoc runs end to end on the Microsoft Azure Cloud stack which gives Ananta Group a secure, highly scalable and compliant solution.
