TV24 Desk: The 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Members’ Retreat 2026 of the Bangladesh Association of Contact Center & Outsourcing (BACCO) was held on Saturday, 17 January 2026, at the scenic Kazi Resort in Gazipur. The day-long, vibrant event served as an important platform to review BACCO’s organizational activities, outline future plans, and further strengthen mutual engagement and camaraderie among its members.
The program commenced with a welcome address by BACCO President Mr. Tanvir Ibrahim. Highlighting the progress of the country’s BPO and outsourcing industry, he stated that BACCO has been contributing to Bangladesh’s socio-economic development for many years through the growth of this sector. He noted that the industry has already generated over 100,000 jobs and achieved approximately USD 1 billion in annual foreign earnings. Looking ahead, he reaffirmed BACCO’s vision to reach USD 5 billion in revenue and create 300,000 jobs by 2030. He also emphasized the importance of policy reforms in the IT and telecom sectors, infrastructure development, AI adoption, and the effective utilization and synchronization of national data.
Following this, the formal proceedings of BACCO’s 14th Annual General Meeting began. BACCO Secretary General Mr. Faisal Alim presented the minutes of the 13th AGM, a report on BACCO’s activities and progress over the past year, and proposed future initiatives aimed at advancing the BPO industry. Additionally, BACCO Finance Secretary Mohammad Aminul Hoque presented the audited financial statements for the fiscal year 2024–2025, which were unanimously approved by the members present.
One of the major attractions of the event was the BACCO Members’ Retreat, which offered participants a lively and enjoyable experience. The retreat featured a wide range of activities, including BACCO Premier League 2026, BACCO Football Champion 2026, BACCO Drawing Fest 2026, Air Gun Balloon Shooting, Cotton Candy, BACCO Target Champs 2026, Ring Games, Swimming Competitions, and BACCO Musical Pillow War. These activities significantly strengthened teamwork, fellowship, and active participation among members.
The event was attended by BACCO Senior Vice-President Md. Abul Khair, Vice President Md. Tanzirul Basher, and Directors– Abu Daud Khan, Abdul Kader, and Sayma Shawkat. Also present were BACCO’s esteemed members, whose presence further enriched the program.
The closing remarks of the event were delivered by Md. Abul Khair, Senior Vice President of the BACCO Executive Committee. He expressed his gratitude to all concerned for the successful organization of the program and conveyed his optimism that BACCO’s future journey would be further strengthened through the active participation and cooperation of its members.
