TV24 Desk: Youth-empowering tech brand Infinix launched an innovative VR cricket campaign in celebration of the Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup. This ‘Charge UP Bangladesh’ campaign runs until June 29, offering fans the opportunity to engage in immersive VR cricket experiences.
Participants of this charge up VR campaign can win the chance to meet and play with Bangladesh cricket star Taskin Ahmed at the grand finale.
The VR cricket campaign, targeting the youth demographic, is taking place at major universities and popular shopping malls across Dhaka city. Attendees at the venues can compete in batting challenges, aiming to achieve the highest scores in the virtual cricket games.
The top 10 scorers will earn the chance to participate in a super over with Taskin Ahmed during the grand finale. The highest scorer will receive a cricket ball signed by Taskin and a gift box featuring earbuds.
Additionally, the remaining top 10 participants will each receive an Infinix gift box. Every participant will take home a T-shirt or a water bottle as a keepsake from the event. The event will also include a meet and greet session with Taskin Ahmed.
The “Charge Up Bangladesh” VR cricket campaign is designed to celebrate the spirit of cricket and engage with youth in a modern, tech-savvy way. Infinix’s innovative technology, particularly in charging solutions, empowers young people to stay charged up anytime, anywhere.
