TV23 Desk: On November 11, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bangladesh Association of Call Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) and IT Park Uzbekistan at the Hall of Fame, BICC, Dhaka with the aim of developing the BPO industry of both the countries.
Mr. Wahid Sharif, President of BACO and Mr. Farkhod Ibragimov, Chief Executive Officer of IT Park Uzbekistan signed the memorandum in presence of representatives of both organizations on occasion of WCIT Bangladesh 2021.
At the event, it was informed that various initiatives would be taken to expand the BPO industry of the two countries. The main objective of the agreement is to hold various B2B sessions for the expansion the industry, collaboration to start exporting BPO services to countries of Central Asia and CIS, to create skilled manpower and to expand all facilities and incentives for foreign investment through joint cooperation.
Hon’ble Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology Division, Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, as the Chief Guest of the event, praised the initiative and assured all possible cooperation from the government. Also present were a delegation from the IT Park Uzbekistan, members of the BACCO Executive Committee and other leaders from the IT/ ITES industry. -gdtn/14/nov/21
