Tv24 desk : Zia Uddin Haider PDRR of Rotaract District Organization, Rotary International District 3282 Bangladesh, has been elected as President of Rotaract South Asia MDIO for the Rotary Year 2022-23.
The election was held by the Rotaract Zone Institute 2021 (RZI) in Gujarat, India at a training program for District Rotaract Representatives. He is the first President from Bangladesh.
Rotaract South Asia MDIO is operating its activities in 8 countries Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Afghanistan. There are total 41 Rotaract Districts in these 8 countries.
Zia Uddin Haider was the Joint Secretary of Rotaract South Asia in the Rotary Year 2018-19 and the General Secretary in the Rotary Year 2019-20.
PDRR Zia Uddin Haider led the Rotaract Club of Chittagong Rose Garden as President in the Rotary Year 2011-12 and the Rotaract District Organization, Rotary International District 3282, Bangladesh as a District Rotaract Representative (DRR) in the Rotary Year 2017-18.
