Tv24 Desk: Google and several of its services, including Gmail and YouTube, among others, were restored this evening after those were down for thousands of users worldwide today.
Earlier today, users across the world were reportedly facing time outs and slow loading times while using Alphabet Inc. services — including Gmail, YouTube and Google Drive.
Global outage detector site Down Detector reported a significant spike in the number of complaints coming in from all over the globe around 6:00pm Bangladesh Standard Time.
It is still unclear what the issue was behind the global outage.
