ICMAB Inaugurated Digital Classrooms & Facilities to Expand CMA Professional Education Nationwide
TV24: The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has launched a major digital transformation initiative aimed at providing high-quality CMA professional education nationwide. The initiative is designed to ensure modern, affordable, and accessible learning opportunities for students in both urban and remote areas.
The inauguration ceremony of the established digital classroom was held on 2 December 2025 at the ICMAB Bhaban, Nilkhet, Dhaka. ICMAB stated that the digitalization of CMA education will significantly expand learning accessibility across Bangladesh, allowing students to access live and recorded classes, high-quality academic resources, and a uniform learning experience regardless of location. This transformation is expected to play a vital role in developing skilled professionals for the financial, industrial, and corporate sectors, thereby contributing to the country’s long-term economic growth.
Mr. Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, Special Assistant to the Hon’ble Chief Adviser, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, attended the ceremony as Chief Guest.
Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, and Mr. Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA, Secretary, Internal Resources Division (IRD) & Chairman, National Board of Revenue (NBR), Ministry of Finance attended as Special Guests.
ICMAB President Mr. Mahtab Uddin Ahmed FCMA was also present at the event. Council members, faculty, trainers, students, and media representatives participated in the ceremony.
