Techvision24 Desk: The LAN event of ‘Asian Esports Games 2024’ will be held at the Hua Mak Indoor Stadium in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, from November 23rd to December 2nd. The major attraction of the event will be the meet-up of various races and tribes and the battle for the esports titles between them. Like other countries in Asia, Bangladesh is not behind in any area. Team Bangladesh will participate in two titles: ‘Mobile Legend Bang Bang-Female’ and ‘E-Football’.
The Mobile Legend Female Team will represent the country in front of the world with the flag of Bangladesh where Zubaida Anjum Prabha, Rahma, Maryam, Meherunnessa, and Selina Sara will participate as eSports athletes and ASM Nesar Uddin will be participating in the e-football game.
Yesterday on November 16, 2024, at BCS Computer City (IDB Bhavan) located at Agargaon in Dhaka, a conference was held with the athletes, and the jerseys were unveiled at the ongoing City IT Mega Fair 2024 along with the athletes being felicitated by MSI and Star Tech Ltd. The event was attended by Vice President Mohammad Bin Enam, General Secretary (Acting) Aga Rafsan, Treasurer Fazle Rabby, Deputy Director Md Nafiz Alam, E-Football Councilor Imran Ali, Bangladesh eSports Athletes Committee (BESAC) member Susmit Rashid on behalf of BYDESA and many more. From BCS Computer City President A.L. Mozhar Imam Chowdhury, Vice President Akhtar Hossain Khan, Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman. Also, the Managing Director of Star Tech Ltd Md. Zahid Ali Bhuiyan and MSI Product Manager Md. Towhid Hossen and Md. Humayun Kabir and Moonton South Asia Social Media Manager Md. Nahian Islam and many others were present.
The National Championship of Asian eSports Games 2024 was organized by the ‘BYDESA – Bangladesh Youth Development & Electronic Sports Association’ which is known as ‘BYDESA’ for short. Along with this, MSI Gaming and Star Tech Ltd. were partners of BYDESA. BYDESA is also a member of the IESF – International Esports Federation (IESF), Global Esports Federation (GEF), AESF – Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF), Network of Academic and Scholastic Esports Federations (NASEF), Esports World Federation (ESWF) and World Phygital Community (WPC).
